Tennessee: Things That You Need To Know Prior To Moving

One of the most beautiful states in the US is Tennessee. Think of the Appalachian Mountains and the  Mississippi  River. Think of the mild climate  where winters are not that harsh and summers are warm. If you are into gardening or farming, this state is the right place to live for you as the rainfall is plenty, soil is fertile and the growing season is incredibly long.

Nashville, Knoxville and Memphis are where most employments are found. Other cities in Tennessee live on the farming  industry, mining industry and manufacturing industry.  Lately, Chattanooga is transforming itself the center for high tech and info tech businesses in the country. All cities in Tennessee have buses and trolleys. If you decide to live in a rural county, you can be sure of the reasonable fare for bus services in and out of the city.

Professional like Doctors and Lawyers have a professional privilege tax of about $400 every year. The sales tax charged in Tennessee is 7% of  the base rate, This is why if you plan to relocate to Tennessee, it is best to buy expensive items like cars and boats in your local area, that is if your place charges low tax rates compared to that of  Tennessee.
