New Neighborhood Checklist

Moving to a new place means you will deal with a new environment, new neighbors and is some cases new timezone or country. This is why there are things that you need to do in order to ensure your safety and such. An ocular visit is yuor best bet as it would give you a clear idea of the new place that you will live in.

If you can not do an ocular visit, it would be best to do your research. Find out about the place’s history, crime rate and pretty much everything else that you need to know. This will also help you get around the city easily as your research will inform you of a lot of things that even some locals do not know about.

If your move is company sponsored and you have colleague at work who are already there or at least those who have been there, as for feedback and comments. It is not just important that you know what the outside environment is  but it also pays if you know what the inside of the house is.
